Vern Ginunas Executive Vice President and COO of Copper and Brass Sales Leaving Company at End of Year
Southfield, Mich., August 25, 2015 - Vern Ginunas, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Copper and Brass Sales division of thyssenkrupp Materials NA, Inc. (TKMNA), will be stepping down from the company effective Dec. 31 in his official capacity, but will continue to work with thyssenkrupp Materials NA as a consultant afterward.
“Vern‘s drive and tenacity has been instrumental in the growth of and success of our company over the years. We are fortunate to be able to retain his knowledge as an advisor, but his daily input will be greatly missed,” said Frank Kevane, current President and Chief Executive Officer of the Copper and Brass Sales Division.
Vern Ginunas joined Copper and Brass Sales in 1982 holding varied sales and management positions ultimately leading to his current role as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for the company. During his tenure Vern was a leading Executive on many key organizational changes and major initiatives such as the implementation of SAP, and the development and early recognition of the online channel leading to the acquisition of onlinemetals.com in 2007.
